These natural edged slabs of walnut with beautiful crotch grain seemed to fit the bill to perfection when I was asked to make a kitchen table for a restricted space. When the leaf is down the table seats two to perfection, and when raised there is plenty of room for four.

Anyone who loves wood could not help but love this table. The walnut is slightly spalted and some cracks were stitched with dovetail keys which all add to the interest of the table top, and of course the colour is glorious.
