Just completed these two rocking chairs in the style of Sam Maloof, one of them is in cherry wood, and the other is walnut. The wood in both cases came from trees sourced right here in Northern Ireland.

It’s been a few years since I have made on of these rockers and I really enjoyed the process, there is a lot of hand shaping and no straight lines anywhere, which can be quite challenging when it comes to achieving good tight joints with no gaps.
